Snoopy was hit by a car & brought to a shelter. Tattered Paws stepped in as there was no time to spare. We rushed Snoopy to an animal hospital where we were told he may not survive. We knew we had to try as we have seen miracles happen. After an almost $15k surgery to repair & stabilize his broken spine - Snoopy began his road to recovery. At every turn he has blown us away, he is a living miracle! Not only is our boy standing, he is walking, wagging his tail, and is gaining strength by the day. 💪 Now it’s time to find his forever home! Snoopy’s must haves in his home are: ❤️ A mellow (ideally single level) home - once he is recovered he would likely be okay with a pup sibling of similar size for gentle play. Snoopy loves other dogs but rough housing would not be safe for him. 💙An adopter willing to travel to pick him up and bring him back home via car. He is currently being fostered in San Antonio, TX. With his spine still healing, he is not able to fly - we cannot take any risks as turbulence could injure him this early. 💜A compassionate, loving, and dedicated family that is prepared for a medical needs pup who may need assistance down the road. Snoopy does need assistance with manual expression to go potty. He is starting to attempt to go 💩 on his own!
