Meet Autumn! Autumn is a beautiful young shepherd mix and a very special pup to our Tattered Paws family. Autumn was rescued as just a puppy from a shelter in Konya after animal rights activists rose up to fight for the wellbeing of animals in that shelter. The Garden team was on the front lines to rescue dogs from the dire conditions of that shelter and Autumn, along with her sister, were taken in to the care of the Garden. Autumn recently flew from Turkey to Vermont for a chance to find her furever home. Her foster describes her as the sweetest girl ever! She is still adjusting to home life, but she is a quick learner! She is potty trained and doing well on a leash. She loves cats and can be playful with dogs, and doesn’t mind other animals as she is being fostered on a farm! She does seem fearful of loud noises, particularly loud trucks, likely from her past life in Turkey.
