Amara here is one special girl! Her mom was a Golden, found as a stray carrying a loaf of bread for her puppies. Mama and her puppies were rescued and brought back to the garden for safety, where Amara spent the first years of her life. Amara is being fostered in Poulsbo, WA and we are looking for a Washington state adopter or someone within a reasonable driving distance from Washington. Amara is somewhat timid, especially with new things, so a calm, fenced yard home, that is willing to take things very slowly with her is ideal. Despite her rough beginnings and submissive nature, Amara is very gentle mannered, sweet and happy. Her foster describes her as "chill but spunky and has an old soul vibe." Amara is potty trained, leash walking trained, and gets along with dogs and cats. We can't wait to watch this girl thrive in a cozy home of her own once she allows her family to earn her trust and opens up a bit. Amara is a Greek name meaning "lovely forever" *****We are looking for a Washington state adopter or within a reasonable driving distance from Washington. ***** *** PLEASE NOTE *** -Age and breed are our best estimates and cannot be guaranteed. -The blue fence is 33.5†tall for height reference.
