It’s no surprise my name is Clifford. No, not just because I’m red, but because I teach everyone around me how to love in a big way (just like the character in the children’s books). I was sadly dumped off at a feeding zone in Istanbul and selected to visit the Garden because I was in need of some special care. I had developed a growth behind one of my ears. Once at the Garden they didn’t hesitate to get it removed and I am almost fully recovered. While caring for me they noticed some old scars under my neck and on my hips, evident that I’ve encountered a few of life’s hardships, but in my 6-1/2 years I have not given up on my dream that a loving family is out there waiting for me. In the Garden I am known as “A loving little oneâ€. I’m happy, somewhat submissive and very docile. When on a leash I may tend to show a bit of enthusiasm as I tend to pull a bit, but patience, a little training and regular walks will help tremendously. I get along with other dogs, so a family that offers furry siblings, or joining a regular pack walk might be ideal. I’ve not been introduced to a lot of fun and games in life so my new family will have lots of wonderful things to introduce me to. In exchange I will happily shower you with lots of love and furever companionship. *** PLEASE NOTE *** The blue fence is 33.5†tall for height reference.
