You may remember Butus from one of our Thank You posts on Facebook (pictured). Butus recently underwent a surgical procedure to correct ectropion (inward growing eyelashes). He is recovering quickly and is ready to find his new home! He is a happy, talkative boy who doesn't hesitate to tell you he needs more attention. * Butus is named after the Arbutus tree. Arbutus is the only native broadleaf evergreen plant in Canada. They are small trees or shrubs with red flaking bark and edible red berries. They are often found on exposed rocky bluffs overlooking the ocean. The flowers have a strong honey smell and are very attractive to bees. *** PLEASE NOTE *** Butus is available for adoption anywhere in the US. The blue fence is 33.5” tall for height reference.
