Westley: Westley is a 26-lb unidentified terrier mix. We believe he is about 5 months old. This handsome young man was named after the beloved Westley from everyone's favorite movie, The Princess Bride. Westley bears a striking resemblance to his namesake - he even wears a mask just like the Dread Pirate Roberts. Westley has other characteristics in common with the movie character as well. He is a loyal boy and will escort you everywhere you go. He will melt your heart with kisses on the cheek. He is playful and funny, but appreciates the comforts of a warm bed and a loving home. Westley can also be a bit like the Dread Pirate Roberts when it comes to other pets taking or getting too close to his most treasured items, so he will thrive with a human who will be dedicated to training and teaching him his manners. Westley was rescued from a shelter in Odessa, Texas and is currently living in a foster home in the Seattle area with his sister, Buttercup. Westley and Buttercup can be adopted separately or together to the right home. We are also hoping that Westley’s family will be local or within driving distance as he has some anxiety with a crate so a flight is not in his future.
