Juniper or JuJu as we call him is on the med size. Our wish list for him is a fenced yard so he can run untethered when outside. A couch buddy to watch TV with on those cold nights. Someone willing to take him for those walks around the block or two. He is hesitant when he first meets people but it lasts all of about 15 seconds. He is microchipped and UTD on vaccines. ___________________________________________________________________________ This is what his foster says about him: JuJu is the most optimistic being I've ever seen! Seriously, this boy is all about the sunny side of life. He is curious, joyful, confident, loving, and forgiving. JuJu spent most of his first two years of life alone on a back porch, coming in the house late at night, only to be kenneled. No judgement intended, sometimes life gives us few options. He was lonely, but not afraid. His best friend was his ball. He still loves his ball and is reluctant to give it up. He carries it with him everywhere. JuJu has been with us since early January, when the owner agreed that she was not in a position to properly care for him. Since then he has learned to interact, to cuddle, to play with other dogs, and that life in general is so much better when shared. This boy melts my heart. Its almost like he is an old soul with the wisdom of the ages. As if he knew that everything would eventually be alright. JuJu loves to cuddle, to run, to play, and to eat. Don't leave your plate unattended for too long! He is happy and content to sleep in his kennel at night. Since his neuter he can be trusted not to mark in the house and if given proper potty breaks he will not have a accidents. His joyful nature will require some training but his heart is willing, and he certainly is smart enough to catch on quickly. He is bouncy, prancy, and gorgeous! JuJu is a gem of a dog and someone will be lucky to have him. We have cats and chickens. He likes to chase, so we keep them separated. He would do best in a home without either. He does great with other dogs when properly introduced. He has never met a dog that he doesn’t like, or can’t out run. He is a lover not a fighter!
